中岡慎太郎(Nakaoka Shintaro, 1838-1867)是維新志士之一, 亦是坂本龍馬(Sakamoto Ryoma, 1836-1867)改革奮鬥的重要伙伴。坂本龍馬在近江屋被刺殺時, 中岡也一同被殺, 所以他也有相當的歷史地位。館內展示影像和壁板, 演示中岡的一生和他的夢想。
