description
Garden of Fine Art was designed by architect Tadao Ando and was completed in 1994. This open-air musuem displays reproductions of the famous masterpieces on porcelain panels. These plates are exhibited at spots that seamlessly harmonize with the building structure. Artworks at the museum: - The Last Judgement by Michelangelo - The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci - Road with Cypresses and Star by Van Gogh - Water Lilies - Morning by Claude Monet - Choju giga by Toba Sojo - Qingming Shanghe Tu by Zhang Zeduan - A Sunday Afternoon by Seurat - On the Terrace by Renoir
my experience
想不到這個陶板名畫庭就在地鐵的出口旁邊(真的在旁邊!) 進去後就看見Monet，很喜歡把Monet放進水中的展覽方法，好像看到那些水蓮是真的在盛放。之前在Sistine Chapel看過The Last Judgement，要一直昂高頭往上看，但這次就可以以三個不同角度觀看，就好像真的把整幅畫分成天堂／人間／地獄一樣，順著微斜的走道慢慢從天堂走到地獄。另外很高興欣賞了清明上河圖跟鳥獣人物戯画，因為沒有甚麼人，還有不怕弄髒畫卷（因為是陶板畫），所以可以非常近距離的看那些小細節。最後很高興看見Seurat的A Sunday Afternoon。
