佐渡国分寺跡
description
已於1929年列為國家指定史跡的國分寺是奈良時代(710年—794年)天平13年(741年)由日本第45代天皇聖武天皇奉命建造，確實建成日期推斷於743年至775年之內；可惜於1529年被燒毀，至今只有金堂回廊和南大門的部份基石殘留著，現在仍於積極復原當中。於附近的史跡公園內可以看到紀念石碑。
