造幣廠區域內的道路有櫻花，120年前開放以來，一直都很受歡迎。渡行560m的道路，約有125品種·370朵各種各樣的櫻花盛開。另外不能不看的有「紅手帶刺外殼」「養老櫻」等的珍奇品種。日落後，有紙罩蠟燈照明，夜裡也能觀賞櫻花。在會場有售紀念櫻花的貨幣組套和獎牌等。
