紅沙灘得名於含鐵的沉積岩，整個紅沙灘位處高聳的懸崖底下，在假日時可能會比較擁擠．沙灘上有一些比較陰冷有蓋的位置，玩得累時可選擇在那些陰涼位置休息．靠近岸邊的沙比較石礫，水底下都是一些較大的石春，但出水後幾米，沙石比較鬆散，要小心留意．
