藏王溫泉鄉是著名的溫泉渡假勝地，溫泉中含有的物質可分為16種，而藏王溫泉鄉即含有其中9種，是自古以來日本罕見的溫泉，並有『姬之湯』的美名。藏王的溫泉水是從海拔920公尺的藏王連峰湧出，屬強酸性，對於皮膚病、神經痛等症狀相當有效，故一年到頭遊客絡繹不絕。
