大阪環球影城於2001年開幕，原封不動將加州的環球影城搬到日本，是環球電影公司的主題遊樂場。影城分為9個不同區域，設有不少機動遊戲設施及表演項目，都是以侏儸紀公園、ET、未來戰士、大白鯊及小飛俠等電影，或史諾比、芝麻街及Hello Kitty等卡通人物為主題，每日更有花車大匯演，是遊大阪必去的地方。
